Op. Dr. Ünzile Girişgin
Born in Adana in 1970, she completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in the Dörtyol district of Hatay.
She completed her studies at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1993. She began her pediatrics residency at Ankara Dr. Sami Ulus Children's Hospital after completing a Specialization in Pediatrics. After completing a 16-month pediatrics program, she completed another Specialization in Pediatrics and Obstetrics at Konya Meram Faculty of Medicine.
In 2000, she became an obstetrician and gynecologist, working for 16 months at the Karaman Maternity Hospital and for eight years at the Konya Dr. Faruk Sükan Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital. Due to the inadequate time allocated to and solutions for women's sexual problems in outpatient clinics, she participated in courses and congresses organized by associations providing sexual education (CETAD, Turkish Andrology Association CİSED, CİSEATED, etc.). She received training in Basic Approach and Counseling to Sexual Problems, a Female Sexual Dysfunction course, Sexuality and Sexual Treatments, Tantra, and the solution of sexual health problems.
In 2010, she published her book, "DON'T READ CISS!", which synthesized her experiences in this field with a blend of medicine and Eastern culture.
She participated in programs such as "Kum Saati, Hanımeli, 5. sezon" (Hourglass, Honeysuckle, 5th Season) on Kon TV, Konya42 TV, and Dost TV, where she provided training on women's health and sexuality. She hosted two educational programs, "Kadının Dünyası" (Woman's World) and "Doctor's Says" (Your Doctor Says) on Radio Ribat for four years. She presented educational conferences whenever she had the opportunity. She made recommendations for the Konya Municipality's "What Can We Do to Prevent Violence Against Women" project and the Ministry of Family and Social Services' workshop on Child Abuse and possible measures. In June 2022, she was elected to the Republic of Turkey. She participated in the INTERNET ADDICTION WORKSHOP, a joint effort between the Ministry of Interior and the Ankara Governorship, and provided information on the medical aspects of PORN ADDICTION and how it affects our lives. She also submitted her encyclopedia, "I HEAL MY BRAIN," to the relevant units.
Throughout her career, she participated in professional development congresses on Menopause and Climacteric Period, Perinatology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Overactive Bladder, Stress Incontinence, Gynecological Emergencies, Perinatological First Aid, Phytotherapy, regular ultrasound courses, EMERGENCY obstetric care, Cosmetic gynecology, and urogynecology.
She received training in genital aesthetic surgery, medical aesthetics specialization, phytotherapy, and energy matrix courses.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. CISEATED (ASEHERT) (Sexual Health Education, Research, and Treatment) Association President, who passed away in January 2020, She participated in the international sexology congress organized by Ümit Sayın, where she presented solutions for the negative effects of pornography on our sexual health and the harmful effects of Pharaoh's Circumcision on women's sexual health, along with their possible solutions for their elimination.
Married to Prof. Dr. A. Sadık Girişgin, Head of the Emergency Department at Meram Medical Faculty, the author is a mother of four and a mother of four. She published her book "OH! HALF OF THE APPLE IS OUT." in 2012, in which she explains how she manages motherhood while working as an obstetrician and gynecologist, one of the most demanding professions. The book serves as a guide for young girls and women who dream of combining motherhood with their professional lives.
In 2013, while raising her last child, Hamza Girişgin, she published the encyclopedia "A PHYSICIAN MOTHER'S GUIDE TO BABY CARE." She also wrote columns for the local newspaper Pusula and for national publications such as Milat, MİRAT, and BBN. In January 2020, the author published her highly acclaimed book, "JOURNEY TO PLEASURE," a guide for all married couples and a resource encyclopedia for physicians, psychologists, and family counselors.
In December 2021, she published "I'M HEALING MY BRAIN," an encyclopedia about porn and masturbation addiction, prepared by Gynecologist Girişgin for all young people over the age of 14 and their parents.
Between 2013 and 2018, she conducted female genital aesthetics and sexual therapy courses, as well as scientific research on the contributions of Sufism to the human spirit and spiritual world. During her Sufi studies, she extensively studied the lives and works of great Sufis such as Şemsi Tabrizi, Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi, Muhiddin-i Arabi, Yunus Emre, and Prof. Dr. Münir Derman. While striving to synthesize the concepts of humanity and soul, the heart's pursuit of love, and body-soul-self with modern medicine, she continues her research to contribute to social peace, tranquility, and happiness.
Following five years of Sufism training, she founded SÜCED (Society for Healthy Reproduction and Sexual Education) on February 2, 2018.
Currently, Op. Dr. Ünzile Girişgin performs all gynecological surgeries (myomectomy and cyst surgeries) in her private practice for patients seeking treatment both domestically and internationally. She also performs radiofrequency therapy for urinary incontinence and surgery to repair postpartum tears. She also offers cosmetic gynecology procedures such as labiaplasty, vaginoplasty, hydoplasty, fillers, and vaginal rejuvenation.
Gynecologist Ünzile Girişgin is also a successful family counselor and a family consultant.
The Counseling and Guidance Center offers services such as vaginismus treatment, treatment of all sexual problems (anorgasmia, sexual reluctance, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, masturbation addiction), support for families in the face of sexual abuse, sexual counseling, and psychological and legal support for families to recover before divorce.
Op. Dr. Ünzile Girişgin founded the SEX EDUCATION ACADEMY and has begun offering online and in-person training.
She creates sexual resource books that include a SEX EDUCATION CURRICULUM free of sexual perversions and pornography for all humanity, especially for individuals and families who identify with Islam.
The first four resource textbooks for parents and educators have been published.
